  ADMISSION INFORMATION
 

1. Application for admission to the college is to be submitted in the prescribed form within a fixed period of time. Prospectus and admission forms are available in the office of the college on payment of Rs. 150.00 only.

2. A panel of teachers prepare the merit list and display on College notice board well ahead of the admission date. The candidate selected must get themselves admitted on the very day of interview, after which no claim for admission will be entertained.


 

3. A Student has to produce the following documents at the time of interview.

(a) Original marksheet of last examination.  
(b) Original certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended (HSLC/equivalent exam. onwards)
(c) A gap certificate stating reason is to be produced by the student who has passed qualifying examination earlier.
(d) Passport size photograph (two copies).
(e) Migration/Transfer Certificate as the case may be.
(f) SC/ST/OBC/MOBC certificate.
(g) Certificate of proficiency in co-curricular and extra curricular activities as the case may be.
(h) Proof of Age (HSLC Admit Card/Certificate).
 
 

4. Admission to the college hostel will be held immediately after the college admission, for which separate     application in prescribed form is to be submitted. Admission will be strictly on merit basis.

   
 

5.Casual Admission to HS & TDC classes will be held after Puja Vacation.

   
 

6.All admission are provisional subject to the approval of GU/AHSEC.

RULES AND REGULATION

Morning Assembly: Daily routine of the college is started with an assembly of the students and teachers at 9.00 A.M. - 9.15 A.M. There will be a devotional/Patriotic song performed by the students under the supervision of the teachers. The Assembly time will be devoted to pronounce the 'Thought of the Day'. During the assembly nobody shall be allowed to enter the college campus.

Discipline:
A Committee is in charge of maintaining discipline on the campus. Uses of MOBILE PHONE is strictly banned inside the campus. Tobacco in any form is prohibited inside the Campus. Students must keep their identity cards with them. Wearing College Uniform is compulsory.

Attendance: (1) A student (both HS/Degree) is not eligible to sit for Council/University examination as regular candidate if he/she has not attended minimum of 75% lectures in each subject separately.
(2) A student abstaining from classes continuously for 25 days or more during the session without any valid ground shall forfeit his/her seat, Attendance in the practical classes is compulsory.
(3) Scholarship holders must get 75% attendance.

College Examination: Unit tests and a preparatory tests, besides class tests are conducted by all departments. Details of these tests are available in academic calender-cum-progress records of students.

Departments will monitor the academic performance of each and every student throughout the year. 20% marks obtained in the unit tests will be carried over to the preparatory examination.

Hardboards, papers and mobile phones are not allowed in the examination hall.

Any change in the examination schedule will be notified in due time.

Change of Combination: A student may be allowed to change one subject of combination only within one month of the admission subject to the availability of seats. He is to get permission from the Principal through respective HOD by applying on plain paper.

Transfer Certificate: Students seeking transfer on a valid ground are to apply on plain paper to the office of the Principal with permission from the competent authority. A fee of Rs 500.00 will be charged for processing the transfer certificate. No transfer certificate will be issued after the annual Preparetory Examination if not informed prior to the examination.

Participation in extra-curricular activities:
Students are encouraged to get themselves involved with the different extra curricular activities of the college either as participants or as audience.

UNIFORM :
The uniform for boys and girls is as mentioned below:

Boys'
Light blue shirt and black trousers with monogram.
Girls'
Light blue colour kamij with white salwar and white churni with monogram or Mekhela chadar with blue border and blue blouse with monogram.

Note: Students can wear their traditional dresses on occasions with prior permission from the teachers concerned.
