Twining Programme: Pandu College has twined with Women's College, Tinsukia. A team of six lady members comprising 4 students and 2 teachers visited Pandu College on an exchange Programme from 27th Nov '04 to 3rd Dec '04.They interacted with the staff members and students of the college.

Model Unit of Vermicompost - Biotechnology department is running a model Vermicompost unit to convert all biodegradable wastes of both the hostels of the college to useful fertilizer. The college is seeking option to commercialize it.

Film Show - Award winning films are shown to the students on regular basis and film appreciation is also done by the departments of Bengali and English.

They also visited the facilities of thecollege and attended seminars and film shows organized by Bengali Department. Student members participated in the Annual Debate and Quiz Competitions organized by the College on 2-3 December, 2004.

Book Exhibition - Pandu College library has started organizing Book Exhibition on some specific topics. The books are displayed for one week and comments are collected.

Certificate Course in Spoken English - English department of the college is running this course. Classes are held from 8 am to 9 am three days a week. Modern methodology is followed in teaching using audio devices.

Certificate Course in Mushroom Cultivation - Two months certificate course on Mushroom Cultivation is introduced under the department of Biotechnology. The course includes hands on practical knowledge on cultivation practice and also demonstration of spawn production. The department is equipped with all facilities for this purpose.
